These Are The Indoor Cats
This is Princess Baby Girl. She was just a young kitten living in the Greenway in Troutdale, OR. She was found one morning in the parking lot crying because she was too weak to get up and run away. We brought her into the house, fed her, got her the medical care she needed, and she became one of our first rescues. She is about 8 years old now and acts like a real princess.
This is Jezebel but I have always called her Jezzie Bear. She is the sister of Thor and one of four kittens we found one morning that had been wrapped up in a blanket and thrown out of a car. She is a great cat who is very talkative and spoiled. She is 8 years old like her brother.
This is a rare breed, the Catasaurus Mega-Thor, Thor for short. He sits like a Human while he watches TV at 8 years old. He is the brother to Jezzie Bear.
This is Fuzzy Lou Alice. She is about 10 years old now and belonged to my Mom until Mom passed away in April of 2018. Fuzzy then came to live with me here and she seems happy as can be here.
This is Tikky Tikky a 2 year old calico rescued from the local highway when she was about 3 months old.
This is Missy. She was one of the first cats to show up here when I first moved to Christmas Valley. She was pretty scraggly when she came to me but regular feeding and medical care brought her around quickly. Her fur grew out nice and thick and she has, by her own choice, become a full time indoor cat and rarely goes outside now. I figure she is about 8 or 9 years old and is also the mother of Tomsson. She has a ball with a bell in it and when she plays with it she sings. I hope to get a video of that soon.
This is Callie. She is the second newest addition to the indoor cats. I don’t really know her background but she is kind of a special needs cat. I believe she was taken from her mother too early and then they cut off all of her toes front and back. She is a bit of a problem cat but she is getting better and I think being around the other cats is helping her out. She is a very loving cat and very vocal when she wants attention.
This is Mister Butters. He was abandoned here locally and when I finally captured him he was about 3 days from dying. All his fur was gone. he was injured, and miserable. He has really come around now and is one of the greatest cats I have ever known. I find that he is very thankful for all that I did for him.

These Are The Outdoor Cats
This is Bitsy. She was rescued as a small kitten and raised in the house after getting spayed and her shots. But she was born wild and prefers to live outdoors. She does on occasion come in the house when the weather is really bad with minus degree temperatures and snow.
This is Tomsson. So named because he is Tom’s son. Also the son of Missy. Tom was the first cat to show up here but he fell victim to a coyote trap and unfortunately had to be put down. I promised Tom I would take care of his son. Tomsson is a great cat who is very calm and loving and so wants to be an indoor cat but my female cats won’t tolerate him in the house. He sneaks in when ever he gets a chance though. I think Tomsson is about 7 years old now.
This is Dorian Gray. Named by the neighbors where he was born. He decided he liked life better here and showed up one day and stayed. He is another great cat who is very happy just to have a place to sleep and eat regular meals. He is very friendly and loving but freaks out if you bring him indoors. I have no idea how old he is but he has been around as long as I have lived here about 6 years now.
This is Little Boots or as she was named by the neighbors, Silver Paw. She lives in the abandoned building across the street from me but eats here and sometimes stays the night with the other cats. I want to get a good picture of her because she is the sweetest cat you will ever meet. I wish she would become an indoor cat and she does come in, but if I close the door she freaks out. Update: Finally got a fair picture of her April 2, 2019
This guy is Blackie. He is very recent along with Siamese Sam who both showed up at the same time. It was right after a trailer fire down the street which is where I suspect they came from. He was badly injured on his left face and right elbow. I took him to the vet and they fixed him up so he is doing well and all healed up now. He is being somewhat of a pain because he doesn’t know how to be an indoor cat and he attacks the other outdoor cats while chasing away Siamese Sam all the time. I hope he will be calming down now since he has been fixed.
